I really enjoyed working on this one. I still think I could improve our guys fall recovery, but at least I got the timing in his walk pinned, as well as toning down some of his gestures. It was pointed out that not many people make broad gestures whilst walking on the phone in broad daylight... Maybe our guy's just a little eccentric...

Walk part the third
More changes after todays feedback session. Added a little bit more bounce to the hips, toned down his gestures a wee bit, and worked a little more on the fall recovery.

Walk part the second
More progress on the walk cycle assignment, still a few bugbears to deal with. Some slight snapping of the legs have been pointed out to me that need top be addressed, and i'm not to happy with how his spine seems to snap back to violently as he regains his balance.

Walk, part 1
First part of our walking assignment. More breakdowns are needed, and perhaps a little more delay before reacting to the phone call.

Walking breakdown
After sketching out the intial keys and breakdowns for my walking scenario, I went back and added further breakdown poses. The final shot will hopefully play out something like the image below.
Walking - Posing test sketches.
Okay, so the next assignment is walking with personality. I've decided to have my character walk into the scene, deep in conversation on his mobile phone. Distarcted, he trips over a rock in the road, regains his ballance, and walks on with injured pride. I drew up some really basic pose sketches, as a starting to point to get me going.

EDIT: Some added breakdown poses.
